Decent bullet hell game

While the actual gameplay isn't bad, the rest could use a bit of work.

For one, the spheres that fly towards your plane when you kill an enemy are pretty generic. Using an image that's a bit more detailed, or iconic could add a bit of polish. It would also be good to add an image of them to the start screen with an explanation, as I thought they were some kind of flak/bomb at first and tried dodging them.

The sound design could use work as well. Some decent action background music would make playing a lot more enjoyable, and there's tons of music in the audio portal to choose from. Also, the sound made when your plane is hit has a really loud popping glitch noise at the end that's pretty jarring and loud.

A bit of improvement and 1.3 should be pretty dope.

Totally agree on the sound, due to the time frame for making the game sound was restricted to 'functional' at best, and music didn't get much of a look in.

Same with the spheres pretty much, the game was made with placeholder images at 1st, then everything was given a quick polish up so it didn't look like complete crap.

Feedback is always a good thing, and I agree with all these points. However I'll more then likely do a full rebuild/sequel and implement everything in there.

Interesting side scroller, could use more speed

Not a bad looking or sounding game. The controls work well, and the look reminds me of a classic NES side-scroller with less pixelation.

I think the game could benefit from a bit faster movement, both walking and jumping. As it is you're kind of trudging along, and the jumps are a bit floaty. Also, minor suggestion, but it'd be good to make the characters clickable on the character select screen. I definitely went to click on their pictures before clicking on their text names.

Fun, but buggy

Neat game, but I'm stuck at the spear throwing challenge. No matter when I throw the spear or where I click, the musclebound guy beats me.

I can tell I'm supposed to throw the spear when the wind is blowing, as that makes my spear go further, but it always lands in the same spot, and the muscle guy's spear always lands at the farthest spot, whether or not the wind is blowing for him or not.

The only things I can click on are the spears, the stones, the place you stand to throw, the place to throw to, and then the muscle guy after I throw. I'm clearly missing something with either the timing of the throw or the place I need to click to make a decent throw, but after spending 20 minutes throwing spears to the exact same spot I just gave up.

Awesome challenge

I do so love a challenging puzzle game. I got as far as 48, where it went to 7 at a time and couldn't take it anymore. I'll definitely be back to beat it, but my analytical brain needs a rest. It think I'll go play an FPS or something =)

Bizarre and hilarious

Good mix of difficult puzzles and trick puzzles. Even the background music is tolerable.

Meep!

Took a while, but I beat it. I think I might be a bit crazy from all the meeping though. Interesting mechanics and a cool take on the get-stuff-to-the-goal physics game.

GO MATH!

Challenging, entertaining AND educational. I dig it. Always a fan of logic puzzles, and the sandbox mode really makes it great for repeat visits.

Hilarious

I think some of your humor might be a bit highbrow for this demographic, but I laughed my ass off at the majority of the "levels." The smooth jazz was a nice touch.

My one complaint is, you can't back out of levels. I love the functionality of being able to choose a starting level from the main menu, but it's annoying to have to either play to the end or reload the swf if you want to get to the menu again. Maybe implement it so that you have to play through once, then once you've "beat" it by getting through every level once, you can choose to do the levels from the menu as one-offs. Definitely increase the replay value, as it were.

Fucking Awesome.

This game kicks ass. You both kick ass. Beer kicks ass.

Coincidence?

I THINK NOT!
