great preloader

...what with the blood draining, the guy falling apart, and the "get a doctor" instead of the usual play button. The "somebody get a doctor!" sound byte that played when it was done loading was interesting as well. The rest wasn't too bad either. There didn't seem to be a resolution at the end though..i was left wondering what happened to the guy. All in all not bad.

Art is a conversation with the mind,

And when the receiving mind has been raised on television and conformity, It cannot hold it's side of the discussion between artist and viewer through the medium of art.

"You do not want the beauty and insight I am giving you? Then fine...I shall sink to your level. Happy?"

Without words you have managed to state the sentiment that has eluded me for quite a while. You have a truly masterful grasp of your medium, and I hope you continue to exhibit your works both here and on your site. You have made it onto my site's links page as your work is amazing both in form and function, as is your site. I tip my hat to you.

Great Gooogly Mooogly

This was so fantastically illustrated and animated that I totally forgot I was watching Flash.

You win.

My only suggestion would be have someone spell check the movie before you finally submit it. I hate seeing a fantastic Flash with misspelled words everywhere...it's just unprofessional.

Amazing.

As a fellow digital artist, I commend you...both on your artistic vision and your choice and execution of content. Please continue to make works of this caliber...the digital art world needs more artists like yourself.

Disco fever background...

...didn't really make a lot of sense.

The fact you added in a different cursor was neat...not many people do that with a simple animation...that and the fact you gave it navigation options in the top left bumped your score up a bit. Your drawing however needs a bit of work. The scenery wasn't all that bad...but the people were a bit scary...that guy on the balcony had like a withered arm. The chick freaked me out...her eyes... Decent choice of song, fast load....not great work...but ok

Very Xiao Xiao

Or however you spell that...I can never remember.

Anyway, I dug the overhead view...don't see much of that style...reminded me of a video game somewhat. The final scene with bodies everywhere was funny...and the animation was pretty smooth. The biggest thing is that this type of thing has been done to death. Yeah you're doing it well...but we've seen it before and I know a lot of people don't go for the stickmen.

Another thing...the trailer was over before the song even really kicked in....before even the intro finished. Next time try and find some audio editing software and set your trailer to the hardest / best part of the song. If you really want to go for the gusto, you can try syncing up your animation to some of the harder riffs and drum hits in the music.

Not for 56k-ers

Well....I think the most critical reviews you're going to get are going to be about the War and Peace load time, and the fact you used sticks.

My gripes are:
1) The plane noise is freakin loud, and it doesn't loop so much as start and stop over and over.
2) The talking clips are very very very repetitive.
3) It needs some music when nothing else is going on...otherwise it gets really slow.

My likes are:
1) When you had music going, it flowed pretty well.
2) The matrix stuff was put together decently.
3) The sniper's scope totally full of enemies was damn funny...even if it did slow down the move a lot....my suggestion, instead of using a ton of instances for a huge group scene like that, just use a static image.

Not bad...especially for a first time piece.

Andy-Parker responds:

Well, if you have a time machine, go back 2 years and tell me that when i made this. until you do that its gonna stay as 93 Scenes of frame by frame animation.

Do you smell a dead dog?

Heh...I dig. Your characters are pretty well drawn...you just need to work on animation now. If you get that part down, your sense of humor should serve you well in making some kick-ass portal submissions. Keep it up.

Cool style of animation...

But it got real old after it didn't change at all. The song rocks, and I dig that traced pic stye, but you need to have more than one 2 second loop. Work on something longer and keep with that style. It could result in something very cool.

Great style

I must say I dig your style of flash...and your sense of humor. The Benny Hill music was truly a master touch. Nice...make more.
