LEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!

1:35:00<NewEvolution> this flash is worth it just for the end credits
1:35:08<NewEvolution> that tree is the fucking funniest thing i've seen all day

AND IT'S GODDAMN TRUE TOO.

WinchesterLock responds:

Glad you enjoyed it, and that was actually an Arrow. Read my commentary for more details. Thanks for the 10 none-the-less and have a good day. :)

Win.

Defintely your best flash to date.
Funny, random, well timed with the music, and of course, hilarious surprise ending.
I must say, I laughed my damn fool ass off when he sliced the sheep in half.
My only suggestion would be to make the part with the bird's nest and the flying bird shorter. We got the idea, and then the birds and all just hung out for a bit. Minor gripe to an otherwise stellar flash.

Hrmm.

Needs music.
That, however, is my only gripe.
Oddball, funny, and definitely weird.
Good use of frame by frame animation + tweening.
also, for the final black curtain, it doesn't cover the entire stage. It's always best to draw those a bit larger than the actual flash, that way you're SURE nothing shows around the edges. Keep up the good FBF, it's lacking nowadays.

SUMMARY!

Um...couldn't think of a witty title.
Anywho...good silent-movie stylins. My only suggestion would be to pick a text color for the...um...speech things(?) and stick with it. I was bothered by the switching from white to black and back.
Other than that, rock on. I dig the expressive use of color in an otherwise black and white flash. I'd work on animating your characters turning from side to side (maybe by tweening the mouths and eyes across them) instead of just flipping them. That paper-looking quick flip from one side to the other is amateurish, though you pulled it off well with the easing. All in all, great flash!

WIN

I've already saved this to my HDD in the off chance it doesn't survive the portal.

Wow I'm honored, someone downloaded a cartoon I made. Honared R eye.

Awesome

BAHHAHAH, that was epic.

I'd have liked it better if I didn't understand German, and didn't understand most of what was being said. DO ONE IN FRENCH.

Knowing what's really being said kills the humor a bit. Still....awesome.

mAeAx responds:

Doing one in French was actually what we planned to do next.

Great to hear ideas and feedback and get good scores though!

A masterwork.

It captures all the drama and trauma of my childhood, but with none of the buttsex.
Thankfully.

You can't go wrong with dr0nks and office space.
I've got to go find a copier to kick the shit out of....

NE, you are a king amoung men, never shave that chest of yours :D

Well scripted, paced and animated.

All around, a damn good flash. My only suggestion would be to keep the music running in the background once you cut into the scenes. As in, keep the intros at the volume you have them now, but cut it back to about 1/4 that while the locks are talking and whatnot. The music in the background will serve to fill in the gaps in the speech. Check out any major motion picture...there's just about always a bit of music going on. It's a good way to set the mood, and also keeps that jarring abrupt stop of the music from disrupting the flow of the story.

That's a damn minor flaw in an otherwise well engineered flash. I'm actually interested to see what happens next episode. And let me tell you, that's DAMN RARE for me with NG flashes. ESPECIALLY lock/clock/wtfever ones. Well played, I must say.

LAVAGASM responds:

Wow, thanks for the great review. I love reviews like this, even if they aren't high scored, because I like to improve myself, and little tips, or even major tips will help me come to my potential. I'm really glad you enjoyed my movie, and I'm even more glad that you took the time to write out a review to help me make better flash. I will keep your tip about keeping the music going to help the mood along and fill in the conversation gaps, that is actually a really good idea and I will be sure to implement it in my next episode, and in future movies. Thanks again.

Simply Amazing.

I've had you at the top of my Favorite Artists list ever since I saw Self-destructing organism, and I must say, you retain that spot with grace. This is by far your crowning accomplishment, at least here on NG. The way the story line flowed seamlessly from scene to scene, the adroit way you used your limited color palette, and the twist ending and surprise change of character (all carried out without dialogue I might add) make this a flash of the highest caliber. You can rest assured that my top vote for best of the month will go to this work. Absolutely stunning use of Flash, you sir, are a great contributor to the status of Flash animation as a refined and growing art form.

Easily the best thing on the portal all evening.

Well done I say, well done indeed. I shall have to make room in my favorites for this one, quite the smorgasbord of dark humor and insanity. Hope this continues as a series or at least mini-series. You've got a great drawing/animating style and a wicked sense of humor. Keep it up, I'll have my eye on you.
